Air carriage of pets

Requirements to special containers/carriers/cages:

• dimensions of a rigid carrier in length, width and height shall not exceed 46x28x22 cm, the carrier can contain several pets/birds of the same species, while they should be able to lie in a natural position, stand up to their full height and turn 360 degrees
• dimensions of a non-rigid carrier in the sum of three dimensions shall not exceed 96 cm
• with access for air
• with reliable lock that excludes spontaneous opening of the carrier during the flight
• bottom shall be solid, leak-proof and covered with non-toxic absorbent material excluding spillage thereof
• a bird cage shall be covered with a dense light-proof fabric
  
  

For carriage of a pet, the following requirements shall also be complied with:

• only accompanied by customers over the age of 18
• Pet Passport with a vaccination stamp - up-to-date rabies vaccination is a mandatory prerequisite.

Onboard aircraft:

• during takeoff, landing and passing the turbulence, carriers shall be securely placed under the seat in front of you
• it is forbidden to open carriers, take out or let out your pets while onboard: in the passenger cabin, entrance, toilet
• it is forbidden to feed your pets during the flight

Transported for free, in the cabin of the aircraft and only subject to approval of the carrier, upon submission of the following:

• documents confirming that the customer is an officer of the executive authorities
• documents confirming special training of the working dog
• Pet Passport with a vaccination stamp - up-to-date rabies vaccination is a mandatory prerequisite
  
  

You need to notify the airline about carriage of a working dog in advance:

A working dog transported in the cabin of the aircraft shall:

• wear a collar and a muzzle
• be tied to the seat at feet of the customer it is accompanied by
  
  

Customers travelling with a working dog are provided with the seats in the back of the cabin.

Transported for free, in the cabin of the aircraft and without any weight limitation, upon submission of the following:

• documents confirming disability of the visually impaired customer
• documents confirming special training of the guide dog
• Pet Passport with a vaccination stamp - up-to-date rabies vaccination is a mandatory prerequisite
  
  

You need to notify the airline about carriage of a guide dog in advance:

A guide dog shall:

• wear a collar and a muzzle
• be tied to the seat at feet of the customer it is accompanied by
  
  

Disabled customers traveling with a guide dog shall be accepted for carriage regardless of age and they are provided with the seats in the back of the cabin.
