September 29, Moscow. — Pobeda, a low-cost airline that is a part of the Aeroflot Group, has joined the ranks of the best airlines of Eastern Europe according to the British consultancy Skytrax. Pobeda was ranked sixth in the respective nomination of the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2021, leaving behind many traditional airlines.

World Airline Awards is considered to be the most significant airline award in the world and has a non-official status of «Academy Awards in aviation». The award is given annually by the British consultancy Skytrax, the leading global authority on airline and airport service quality.
Ratings are based on the world’s largest customer satisfaction survey in the airline industry. 13 million people all around the globe participated in the research. The audit was conducted from September 2019 to July 2021: its results include traveling experience both before the coronavirus pandemic and during the anti-virus restrictions.
The low-cost airline Pobeda is the growth driver for Aeroflot Group. Owing to its flexible tariff policy and flawless accuracy, Pobeda remains in the highest demand in Russia and keeps its leading position in flight uplift according to Rosaviatsiya.
Pobeda is listed in the TOP-3 Russian airlines leading in airlift tonnage and is acclaimed as the fastest-growing airline in the world, according to the survey of one of the leading global analytical centers CAPA (Centre for Aviation). Besides, the British agency Brand Finance named Pobeda as a brand that has become the most expensive in 2021.
Since 2016, Pobeda has kept its status of the world’s champion of the average flying hours per day on Boeing 737-800 and stays one of the most successful airlines in the world.
