Travelling with children

A travel for a child is always a welcome adventure.
We know how to make the flight as comfortable as possible!

Infants under 2 years of age:
A baby under 2 years of age can fly for free (or 20 € in case of an international flight) if they do not occupy a separate seat and sit on an adult's lap. But it is important to remember that one adult can accompany only one child under the age of two. You can add your baby to the booking on the pobeda.aero website or in the mobile application, as well as through the Call Center.

Please note that the child must be under two years of age on the date of return flight as well (for all booking segments). If your child turns 2 while traveling, you need to issue a separate ticket only for those segments that are performed after he or she reaches 2 years of age.

If you want your baby to travel in a separate seat, you can book the Extra Seat service, so the seat next to you will be assigned specifically for your baby.

Children from 2 to 11 years:
Children over the age of 2 years travel under the standard rules.
Parents whose 5-12 years old children are traveling alone can choose the Unaccompanied Minor service for a fee. It can be ordered through the Call Center or at the check-in counter at the airport.

Children from 12 to 17 years:
Children over 12 years of age may fly alone if a seat is booked for an adult.

Documents for domestic flights:

  • Child's birth certificate or passport

Documents for international flights:

  • Child's passport
  • Visa (if required)
  • Notarized travel consent from a parent or guardian if the child is traveling with other adults

All documents must be provided in the original.

Make your flight more comfortable: choose standard seats, seats with extra legroom (XL-seats) or the most comfortable seats in the cabin with maximum legroom (XXL-seats) during the booking process in the Seat Selection section. When you choose a seat, you automatically receive the option to check in online 24 hours before your flight!

For traveling with a child, we recommend seats with increased comfort and more legroom, the 2DEF seats.

More about the service

Parents whose 5-12 years old children are traveling alone can choose the Unaccompanied Minor service for a fee. An airline representative will help your child through the pre-flight formalities, accompany him/her to the boarding gate, and during the flight the crew will treat your child with special attention. A flight attendant assigned to your child will help him/her with everything. We will meet your child, help him/her get his/her luggage and hand him/her over in person to the welcoming people.

More about the service

For a comfortable flight we recommend using the Extra seat service to reserve the adjacent seat in the cabin and place an infant under 2 years of age on it. The service also allows you to carry extra hand luggage.

A child under 2 years of age must be in the arms of the accompanying customer when taking off and landing and when the Fasten Your Seatbelts light is on.
