June 11, Moscow. — Pobeda, a low-cost airline that is a part of the Aeroflot Group, in March 2021, confirmed its world leadership in Boeing 737-800 daily average utilization rate, according to the data obtained by the Boeing Company from the airlines. The figure reached about 12 hours of flight time, which is 2.5 hours more than that of the runner-up in the list of the operators of this type of aircraft.
The data obtained by the Boeing Company from the airlines shows that Pobeda remained the leader in March 2020 – March 2021 even despite the continuing crisis in aviation industry caused by the COVID-19 restrictions still in force all over the world and the slow restoration of international flights.
The lower the daily average utilization rate is, the lower the fixed costs per flight. Thus, the high intensity of flights allows Pobeda to keep the low prices for the clients.
Pobeda became the world leader in Boeing 737-800 daily average utilization rate in 2016.
